B.E.R. FOOD INTOLERANCE AND ALLERGY TESTING
The B.E.R. allergy testing system is non-invasive, quick and most importantly – painless. The initial consultation takes just one hour and tests for over 100 food, drink and environmental substances. The test produces immediate results and includes a vitamin and mineral deficiency test.
After the test each person receives written results and guidance for their own personal elimination programme which will be followed for 10-12 weeks. The aim is to identify the underlying causes of allergies and intolerances, as opposed to merely treating the symptoms; thus offering an end to the cycle of symptoms and eliminating the need for prescription drugs and traditional remedies where possible.
After twelve weeks a half an hour re-test is recommended so that progress can be monitored and advice can be given on the safe re-introduction of foods into the diet.

Melanie gained an Honours Degree in Biology at the University of Manchester in 1986 and maintained an interest in the life sciences especially health and nutrition until qualifying as a B.E.R. Allergy Tester early in 2006. She has the back up of the team of experts at Allergy Test UK and their continual professional development programme. She practises from her clinic at home in Newton Abbot in addition to The Awareness Centre Axminster.
